Job description

Job Description
** $30,000 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE**
Join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) where you will provide patient care and support during general, regional or MAC anesthesia. Additionally, you will have responsibilities for patient safety while under anesthesia. The CRNA works with the staff Anesthesiologist and Surgeon to provide all elements of a safe and beneficial surgical procedure.
Regions Hospital is a verified Level I Trauma Center for both adults and children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24/7. We have a stellar team of 50+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who provide care for patients of all acuity levels across 21 operating rooms. We perform over 14,000 surgical procedures annually with surgical specialties including: orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, cardiothoracic, plastics, ENT, general, OB-GYN, eye, urology, colo-rectal, burns and Da-Vinci robotic cases.
Our collaborative Anesthesia Care Team works hard to support each other while still allowing for independence.
Work Schedule:
This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period). Schedule will be a mix of day (7:00 am - 3:00 pm) and evening (3:00 pm - 11:00) shifts. Some evening, weekend, and night shifts may be expected. There is flexibility to find the right schedule mix for staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate from School of Nursing
  • Graduate from School of Anesthesia or Certificate of Anesthesia program
  • Certified by the NBCRNA
  • Current RN license by Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Current APRN license by Minnesota Board of Nursing

We offer an on-site employee fitness center, an on-site physical therapy clinic for employees as well as an on-site employee clinic to make it more convenient for our staff to get the care they need. We also have a Center for Employee Resilience that provides support and evidence-based practices to bring relief and build resiliency.
Candidates are eligible to receive a $30,000 sign on bonus within the first two paychecks.
