Clinical Responsibilities

• Emergency patient evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of adult patients
• Management of trauma-positive cases and possible ICU rounding
• Procedures such as airway management and ventilator support as needed
• Coordination with consulting services and inpatient teams when applicable
• Documentation within the facility’s electronic medical record system

Candidate Requirements

• Active MD license in Virginia
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Experience with adult emergency care in trauma centers preferred
• Flexibility to work scheduled evening and day shifts
• Competency in airway management and ventilator procedures
