Looking for steady security work with room to grow in the Manassas area? Enterprise Security Services Corporation, a women-owned and minority-owned company with over three decades of experience, is hiring Armed Security Officers for our Prince William County team. We value reliability, professionalism, and people who show up ready to do the job right.

Where you'll work
Assignments cover client sites in and around Manassas—retail centers, commercial properties, and similar locations. Coverage needs shift, so the site you're assigned to can vary from one assignment to the next. We're looking for officers who are flexible and dependable across the local area.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the property, inside and out, to identify and address safety or security concerns
  • Maintain a visible presence that deters shoplifting, vandalism, and trespassing
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry where required
  • Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and staff
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and report unusual or suspicious activity
  • Write accurate, detailed reports for each shift

Requirements

  • Possess or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS Armed security officer registration
  • Possess your own firearm, vest, and duty belt
  • Meet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registration
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Have reliable transportation to reach assigned sites in the Manassas area
  • Demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
  • Experience in security, retail loss prevention, military, or law enforcement is a plus
