Class A CDL Driver (no airbrakes) - RV/Camper Hauler


Position Summary 


America's Auto Auction Harrisburg is seeking a Class A CDL Driver/Camper Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class A CDL (with no restrictions since manual transmission vehicles are present) and experience safely transporting RVs and campers. 


This position includes hauling RVs/campers as the primary responsibility; when camper transport is not required, the driver will operate a rollback truck to assist with other transportation needs.


Responsibilities for Class A CDL Driver/Camper Hauler

  • Pick up and deliver RVs/campers to and from auction locations.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and without damage.
  • Operate company equipment in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safe operating condition of equipment and facilities.
  • When not transporting RVs/campers, operate a rollback truck.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to support daily auction operations.

Requirements

Qualifications for Class A CDL Driver/Camper Hauler:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • No restrictions on the CDL. E restriction will not be accepted. 
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles/trucks.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Clean driving record.
  • No DUIs within the last five (5) years.
  • No serious at-fault accidents.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to operate company equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
