Job description

Job Description
Pacific Diagnostic Laboratories seeks a Courier II for their Courier Services department responsible to efficiently and effectively train on all PDL routes and cover those routes when a Courier 1 is on PTO, sick or Etc. Flexible work schedule to cover morning and evening routes. To train all new couriers and periodically ride with all couriers ensure workflow goals are met. Run routes in a manner which meet established goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Minimum: Valid class "C" California Driver License. Verification of acceptable driving record from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum: Ability to safely operate assigned company vehicles and to meet established delivery schedules. Basic computer skills.

Years of Related Work Experience:
  • Minimum: 2 year of logistics experience such as running routes.
  • Preferred: 3 years of laboratory logistics experience, such as running routes, handling specimens, delivery of report & supplies, etc. and 1 year experience backing up routes.
