Position Summary
La Salle University's Art History program has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses generally taught by adjunct faculty may include: Intro to Art History, Ancient Art, Medieval Art, Renaissance Art, Baroque Art, American Art, American Architecture, and some aspect of Global Art. These courses are generally offered in person, during the day or in the evening, as well as online.

Essential Duties
• Teach assigned course(s).
• Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
• Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
• Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Art History or closely related field.
• Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
• PhD in Art History or closely related field.
• Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level.
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
• Some classes offered may be in the evenings or online.
