This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while still offering a structured schedule. Our standard work hours will typically fall between Monday and Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gather comprehensive data regarding patients' psychological well-being, enabling accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, incorporating various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to facilitate patients' recovery.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional concerns and enhance coping strategies for patients.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support for their mental health needs.
• Assist in crisis intervention and offer immediate support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your training and experience to de-escalate situations and provide safety planning.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and promote engagement in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional training sessions to encourage continuous professional development among staff.
• Stay updated with the latest research, treatment methodologies, and industry regulations to enhance your clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and documentation, and develop effective treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy using multiple therapeutic frameworks is highly valued.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with a capacity for managing high-pressure situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain documentation and manage patient information is necessary.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Experience in a community health environment is highly desirable, as it will aid in understanding the context and challenges faced by our patient population.
