Job description

We are seeking an accomplished Subject Matter Expert - Regulatory / Scientific to validate, design, and enrich highly specialized training curricula for FDA regulatory reviewers and scientific personnel.
This position is contingent upon award.Work Schedule and Location
  • This position is remote with periodic on-site presence at Silver Spring, MD
  • Clearance Requirement: Current or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance required.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
As the Subject Matter Expert (Regulatory / Scientific), you will provide domain-level expertise to ensure the technical accuracy, regulatory defense, and scientific validity of training programs under Task Area 2 (Reviewer & Scientific Development). You will collaborate closely with Instructional Systems Designers to translate complex regulatory review frameworks, applied scientific methods, analytical decision-making models, and statutory requirements into practical case studies, simulations, and role-based training modules for FDA scientific and regulatory staff.What You Bring to the Table - Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in an regulatory, scientific, or technical role.
  • Education: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific, medical, regulatory, or technical discipline required.
  • Regulatory Mastery: Deep understanding of regulatory review processes, decision-making frameworks, scientific evaluation standards, and regulatory documentation practices.
  • Curriculum Support: Proven experience collaborating with instructional design teams to review, validate, and co-develop scientifically sound courseware, case studies, and practical exercises.
  • Continuing Education Knowledge: Familiarity with continuing education (CE), professional credentialing, and accreditation alignment for scientific and healthcare professionals preferred.
