• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing therapeutic modalities that resonate best with your approach, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, or trauma-informed care.
• Create detailed progress notes and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care strategies, enhancing integrated treatment approaches that consider both psychological and medical perspectives.
• Remain committed to ongoing education, seeking out new methodologies and therapeutic approaches to better serve your clients.

In your role as an LMFT, you will work with a varied patient population, addressing issues such as relationship challenges, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our clients will include individuals and families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, requiring your expertise to navigate their unique circumstances and promote healing and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active LMFT license issued by the State of California.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in a medical or behavioral health environment, showcasing your ability to handle complex cases.
• Strong ethical standards regarding confidentiality, professional boundaries, and rapport building with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective therapy and documentation.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and client management.
• Experience working within a community health setting is preferred, as it enhances understanding of our client population.
