Job description

Work Schedule: 

Per Diem, varying shifts, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. 

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

On-call pay

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Required
  • One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 2 years of pastoral ministry experience including hospital visitation Required
  • Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplain's denomination/faith group Preferred
  • At least one unit of hospital based Clinical Pastoral Education or its equivalent Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Preferred
  • APC Board Certification. Preferred
