ABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) - 1:1 In-Home Sessions Part Time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and safety-conscious ABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans developed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Schedule & Hours:
  • Part-time position
  • Typically 35 hours per day
  • Sessions scheduled after 2:30 PM, MondayFriday
  • Consistent early evening hours, with opportunities for additional hours as caseloads grow
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in-home, following individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies with consistency and fidelity.
  • Monitor and respond to behaviors such as aggression or elopement with safety-focused protocols.
  • Accurately collect and record client data in real time.
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Communicate clearly with parents, caregivers, and the BCBA.
  • Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and supervision.
  • Follow ethical guidelines and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required, we can provide RBT certification support for those new to the field.
  • Ability to move quickly in response to safety concerns (e.g., elopement, aggression).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and physically support clients if needed.
  • Prior experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Understanding of ABA principles and best practices.
  • Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel for sessions.
