Our client, a leading innovator in the beauty and personal care industry, is seeking a Product Development Chemist to join their team. As a Product Development Chemist, you will be part of the Research & Innovation Department supporting the Hair Care, Scalp, & Manageability Development team.
Job Title: Product Development Chemist
Location: Clark, NJ
Pay Range:$22 per hour on W2
What's the Job?

  • Independently complete product development projects from inception to officialization to meet launch deadlines, with support from supervisor as needed.
  • Develop and refine formulas; perform product stability testing and resolve stability issues.
  • Monitor the quality and conformity of formulas to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Handle multiple basic projects simultaneously, managing priorities effectively.
  • Identify raw materials and technologies suitable for innovative product development.
What's Needed?
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering.
  • 1-5 years of technical experience, ideally in personal care or cosmetic fields.
  • Familiarity with formulation processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the US hair market and regulatory requirements is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
