Job description

Amergis Staffing is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for 13-week assignments beginning July 20, 2026. These are 48-hour per week Evening and Day Shift roles, supporting a busy emergency department with a strong need for clinically confident, fast-paced ER nurses.

Position Overview

ER RNs will provide high-acuity emergency care across all age groups. Candidates must have 2 years of recent ER experience and be comfortable managing rapid-turnover patient flow, triage, stabilization, and emergent interventions. This assignment offers competitive weekly compensation and flexible interview options, including potential auto-offer.

Modality: RN – Emergency Room Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Emergency Department) Schedule: Evening & Day Shifts Hours: 48 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/20/2026 Interview: Required (client may auto-offer or conduct unit manager interview) Timekeeping: BlueSky

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
  • Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements    
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
