Part‑Time Evening Customer Service Specialist

Trusted care. Exceptional medicine. Compassion you can feel.

Our Mission:

At All Creatures, we provide trusted care, exceptional medicine, and compassion you can feel. Since 2001, our mission has been to be the Princeton‑area home for veterinary care where pets thrive and the people who love them feel supported. We partner with pet owners to offer hope, answers, and expert guidance — all through a team that listens, collaborates, and works together to bring people and their pets more happy days together.

About the Role of the Evening Customer Service Specialist

We’re looking for an Evening Customer Service Specialist who brings warmth, clarity, and genuine hospitality to every interaction. As the first point of connection during our 4 PM–8 PM hours, you’ll help set the tone for a calm, organized, welcoming evening experience for clients and their pets.

This role is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and finds purpose in helping pet owners feel supported, heard, and cared for.

What We Offer the Evening Customer Service Specialist
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience

  • Dental, vision, and life insurance

  • Generous Paid Time Off

  • Employee discounts on veterinary care and pet supplies

  • A collaborative, supportive, empowering team environment where your voice matters

  • A formalized training program designed to set you up for success

  • Real opportunities for growth within a practice that invests in you

Key Responsibilities of the Evening Customer Service Specialist
  • Client Welcome & Connection — Warmly greet clients and their pets in person and over the phone, creating a friendly, calm, and reassuring first impression

  • Appointment & Message Management — Efficiently manage a high volume of evening appointments, messages, and client needs across multiple platforms

  • Record Accuracy — Maintain organized, accurate client and patient records using Pulse veterinary software

  • Payment Processing — Process payments with precision, care, and attention to detail

  • Front Desk Environment — Keep the front desk and lobby tidy, welcoming, and ready for clients arriving after work

  • Team Communication — Communicate clearly between clients and the veterinary care team, recognizing when information is urgent or time‑sensitive

  • Compassionate Support — Provide empathetic service during stressful or emotional situations, helping clients feel steady and supported

  • Administrative Support — Assist with additional administrative duties that help the evening run smoothly

Qualifications of the Evening Customer Service Specialist
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in veterinary, medical, hospitality, or customer service settings preferred

  • Energetic, outgoing, and personable communication style

  • Ability to stay calm, steady, and professional in a fast‑paced environment

  • Comfortable using computer systems and learning new technology

  • Strong multitasking and time‑management skills

  • A genuine love for animals and a desire to support their care

  • Core strengths that matter here: compassion, empathy, attention to detail, positivity, organization, curiosity, and a teachable mindset
