Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
  • Responsible for the Coordination and Implementation of Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence.
  • Responsibilities include the planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
  • Assists in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they apply to areas of responsibility.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the education team and facility leadership on global hospital education initiatives as directed.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current, unrestricted OK RN License
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • 3-5 years of experience - nursing education experience
  • Emergency Department experience
