We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers to support the testing and development of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. This is an exciting opportunity for safety-focused professionals who enjoy driving, technology, and working in a fast-paced innovation environment.

As a Safety Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting autonomous vehicle operations by monitoring vehicle performance, collecting operational data, and ensuring safe vehicle operation during testing. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety.

$25.00 per hour

Full-time position

Prepare vehicles daily for testing operations

Conduct vehicle safety inspections and readiness checks

Provide feedback to support system improvements

Remain alert and prepared for unexpected roadway situations

Maintain strict safety standards at all times

Tuesday – Saturday

• 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week

Friday – Monday

• 10 hours per day
• 40 hours per week

Morning Shifts

4:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Friday–Monday)

5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

Afternoon & Evening Shifts

2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Friday–Monday)

3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Tuesday–Saturday)

4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Tuesday–Saturday)

Valid U.S. driver's license for at least 3 years

Clean driving record

No DUI, drug, or alcohol-related offenses within the past 5 years

Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices

Strong attention to detail

Ability to remain focused and alert for extended periods

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to work in varying weather and road conditions

Professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Autonomous vehicle experience

Defensive driving or advanced driving training

Motorsport or performance driving experience

Knowledge of vehicle systems and controls

Technical troubleshooting experience

Work directly with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology
