Job Description โ€“ Full Stack Developer

Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the Innovation team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications and servicesโ€”from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end APIs and data layers. You will work in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment where experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous learning are the norm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, accessible front-end applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Build and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs (e.g., Node.js, Python) using cloud-native solutions such as AWS.
  • Integrate applications with databases (SQL and NoSQL), messaging systems, and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, unit and integration testing, and adherence to security best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern SPA framework (React or Angular).
  • Strong experience with server-side languages and frameworks such as Node.js and Python/FastAPI.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka).
  • Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda).
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or an active technical community presence.
