Responsibilities

A Registered Nurse demonstrates competent patient and family- centered care using the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences and quality outcomes in the professional nursing practice environment.


Requirements

Education and Work Experience: 

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam
    BSN Preferred
  • Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
  • Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience

Certification Requirements:

  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire

Specialty Certifications:

  • McAuley Surgery Center - ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion
