Merchandiser Role Overview
Merchandises products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor. Accurately orders product for the next delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
  • Sells and executes all promotions.
  • Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
  • Develops good customer relations.
  • Services all customers as scheduled.
  • Orders product and /or runs invoices.
  • Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be customer-oriented and focused.
