Touchmark on South Hill is Spokane's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist.
Starting Wage $20.28/hr. - $22.33/hr.
Night Shift: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
3 Days/wk
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will answer and monitor phone lines and direct callers. Greet the public, prospective residents and families professionally and courteously. Provide services to residents such as scheduling transportation requests, guest room reservations, and life enrichment or dining sign-ups. Monitor medical alert systems and follow protocol to respond. Duties also include acting as a First Responder in case of emergencies. If needed, escort emergency personnel to location of emergency. Responsible for covering the expanse of the interior and exterior grounds of our campus. Shifts may include prolonged walking and standing and the need to cover the expanse of the campus quickly. As needed, operates company vans, trucks and golf carts.
The ideal candidate:
  • Has an outgoing, warm, friendly personality;
  • Is at least 18 years of age (required);
  • Has a High School diploma or equivalent (required);
  • Has a valid Washington driver's license and clean driving record (required);
  • Desires to work in an environment with older adults;
  • Has the ability and desire to act as a First Responder;
  • Has a sincere interest in making visitors, residents and staff feel welcome and listened to;
  • Has the ability to work in a high traffic area understanding that interruptions area major part of the job duties;
  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time;
  • Ability to get along with co-workers, demonstrate integrity and express a positive attitude;
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
