Overview
The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar, as well as ensuring the best-in-class guest experience. They are also responsible for assisting the Bar staff in keeping the bar organized for an efficient flow of service throughout their shift.
Responsibilities
  • Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas.
  • Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
  • Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed.
  • Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
  • One year of previous experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Evening shift availability.
  • Adequate communication skills: must be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
  • Patient in dealing with guersts.
