Introduction...

OverviewIt is the primary responsibility of the Lounge food runner to provide beverage and food service. Must convey an upbeat and positive attitude, with the ability to engage the guest. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures.  

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, food servers, and restaurant host/ess.
  • Provides clean China, silverware, and glassware upon request from customers.
  • Set tables with dishes, linen, flatware, etc., as required.
  • Attends to customer needs/requests (e.g., refilling beverages, condiments, paper products) in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Assists wait staff with tray service as needed.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, operation and maintenance of bar equipment.
  • Able to understand, read, write legibly in English. 
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.
  • Work varied shifts, which will include day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
