Admissions And Intake Registered Nurse (RN)

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is actively hiring an Admissions and Intake Registered Nurse (RN). We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intake and Admissions team as a full time RN. This role is critical for comprehensive clinical assessments, facilitating appropriate level-of-care determinations, and ensuring a seamless, supportive experience for patients and their families. We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the community!

The Admissions and Intake Registered Nurse (RN) will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Evaluate patients for appropriate levels of care and admissions criteria.
  • Coordinate and collaborate for all necessary information with physicians and other staff

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri (or compact license)
  • Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred
  • Experience in intake, triage, or emergency services strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Be able to work three 12 hour shifts per week in the evening shift
