Job Title: Technical Training Manager
Location: Hybrid – Largo, Florida (Hybrid working from the training center and home)
Reports To: Senior Technical Manager USA

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Technical Training Manager to lead dealer training initiatives at a state-of-the-art training center in Largo Florida. This pivotal role focuses on delivering engaging, hands-on training sessions to ensure dealers are technically proficient and certified to install our IPL and stairlift solutions. The role also involves creating a memorable, inspiring experience for dealers, showcasing our client’s products' value while fostering strong relationships. Occasional travel may be required to support on-site training and supervised installations, but the primary focus will be center-based training.

Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Training amp; Certification:
  • Design, develop, and deliver both theoretical and hands-on training sessions at the training center, ensuring dealers achieve technical certification to install company products and equipment.
  • Effectively communicate technical knowledge while promoting the unique benefits of company products to inspire and engage dealers.
  • Provide occasional on-site training and supervised installations to support dealers with their installations.
Training Center Management:
  • Take full ownership of the training center, ensuring it remains an energizing and inspiring environment.
  • Oversee maintenance, equipment functionality, and the overall presentation of the center. Manage all training center activities, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently.
Dealer Engagement amp; Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with dealers through interactive training sessions and post-training support.
  • Host dealers during their visits, including organizing evening social activities to strengthen connections and create memorable experiences.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Regularly assess and update training materials and methods to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Gather feedback from trainees to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Senior Technical Manager USA to align training programs with business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure training content supports broader company objectives.

Key Qualifications:
  • A Level / High School Diploma standard education or equivalent (desirable).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in stairlift installation and maintenance procedures (essential).
  • Experience in incline platform lift installation and maintenance procedures (desirable).
  • Proven experience in technical training, preferably in the stairlift, platform lift, or mobility industry (essential).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage training facilities, including maintenance oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the US or Canada to support on-site training and supervised installations.
