The Senior Global Trade Compliance Specialist supports export compliance operations for SATCOM products, software, and technology primarily controlled under the EAR. The role focuses on day-to-day execution activities including shipment reviews, export documentation validation, HS/HTS classification verification, license determination support, CCATS submissions, and import/export recordkeeping. The position partners with logistics, contracts, supply chain, and engineering teams to support compliant domestic and international business operations.


  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, supply chain, and contracts teams to ensure compliant international business operations, including product classification support, export documentation review, restricted party screening, and import/export recordkeeping.
  • 5+ years of hands-on export compliance experience supporting EAR-controlled hardware, software, or telecommunications products, with direct responsibility for export shipment reviews, ECCN classifications, license determinations, AES filings, and coordination with freight forwarders in a global operational environment.
  • Experience independently reviewing export shipments and commercial documentation in a high-volume operational environment
  • Working knowledge of EAR classifications, license exceptions, restricted party screening, and AES filing requirements
  • Familiarity with freight forwarder coordination, customs documentation, and import/export record retention requirements
  • Experience supporting engineering or product teams with classification data collection and technical information requests preferred
  • Prior experience in aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, satellite communications, or other controlled technology industries preferred

Pay Range: $91,000-$165,000
