Evening Housekeeper – Long-Term Care Facility

Join Our Team!
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Evening Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. Our long-term care facility is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Position: Evening Housekeeper
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), including every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications: 
  • Housekeeping experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift.

Responsibilities: 
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash and replace liners.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
  • Replenish housekeeping supplies as needed.
  • Follow infection control procedures and facility cleaning standards.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
  • Safely operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to facility policies.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.
