Pay Rate : $50/hr on W2

Seeking a highlymotivated Research Associate to support preclinical inflammationresearch and evaluation of novel therapeutics using in vivo mouse models.The role requires strong hands‑on rodent skills and the ability toindependently execute daily study activities, including dosing, monitoring,blood collection, necropsy, and tissue processing. Off-shift and weekendsupport will be required for some studies. Willingness to provide frequentevening, off-shift, and weekend study support.

Key Responsibilities

• Executein vivo studies using preclinical mouse models of inflammation,immunology, and/or related disease areas.
• Performrodent handling, restraint, and dosing via PO, IV, IP, and SQ routes.
• Conductbody weight, food consumption, clinical observations, and animal healthassessments.
• Performin-life and terminal blood collection, including tail vein, submandibular,retro-orbital, and cardiac collection.
• Supporteuthanasia, necropsy, tissue/fluid collection, and sample processing forex vivo analysis.
• Assistwith study setup, maintenance, takedown, and doseformulation/calculations.
• Operateand maintain laboratory and in vivo study equipment.
• Accuratelydocument experimental procedures, observations, and results.
• Followanimal welfare, safety, regulatory, and laboratory procedures.
• Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams and communicate study progress and findings.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/Associatesin Biological Sciences or related field with 2+ years of laboratoryanimal research experience, preferably PK/PD; equivalent experiencemay be considered.
• Stronghands-on experience with murine models and rodent dosing techniques.
• Experiencein inflammation, immunology, oncology, or other preclinical disease modelspreferred.
• Knowledgeof USDA, animal welfare, and AAALAC guidelines is a plus.
• Abilityto organize and execute studies with minimal supervision.
• Strongcommunication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiencywith MS Word and Excel; GraphPad Prism and PowerPoint are a plus.
• Willingnessto provide frequent evening, off-shift, and weekend study support.
