Job description

Columbus Eye Surgery Center, recognized as a Cataract Innovator, is the premier outpatient center for eye surgery in the Columbus, Ohio area. Through the vision of respected ophthalmic physicians Robert Bruce, Richard Orlando and Robin Beran, the Center opened in March 1996. Since that time, our patient-focused care and philosophy of excellence in service has earned us a near perfect rating by patients as well as certification by Medicare and benchmark organizations such as the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Surgical Technician to work Mondays - Fridays, no weekends and who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments; assisting the physician during procedures; scrubs for all ophthalmic procedures; maintains sterile field; instrument processing, and inventory control.
You must possess a HS school diploma/GED, have completed a surgical scrub technician program, have operating room experience, and have strong moral and ethical character references.
