Crew Chief Mitigation – Lead Restoration Projects with Meyers Construction Co., Inc.


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will serve as the key on-site leader for an established company entering an exciting new service sector after nearly 70 years of restoration excellence. This high-impact role has high growth potential and gives you the opportunity to build and lead a mitigation team(s), manage crucial field operations, and directly drive company growth. You will oversee disaster response projects while helping residential and commercial property owners rebuild their lives.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead and direct mitigation crew on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects safely and efficiently.
  • Assess property damage, develop comprehensive restoration plans, and coordinate with clients, adjusters, and management.
  • Supervise water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and remediation while maintaining strict quality and IICRC standards.
  • Set up drying equipment, monitor moisture readings daily, and maintain complete documentation across all job sites.
  • Enforce safety protocols, identify environmental hazards, and implement control measures to protect workers and occupants.
  • Control project costs, track equipment and material usage, and manage daily jobsite logs and photos.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and manage crew schedules to ensure prompt disaster response.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in water and fire mitigation.
  • Active IICRC Certifications in WRT, ASD, and AMRT.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of drying equipment, moisture tracking, and restoration processes.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
  • Willingness to work evening and weekend hours to respond to emergency service requests.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven track record of crew leadership and project management in field restoration.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with experience handling insurance adjuster interactions.
