DFS Houston has served more than 46,000 clients and is part of a global network of 150 affiliates across 30 countries. The team works closely with community partners, employers, and volunteers to deliver programs that empower clients to secure and sustain employment.

Position Summary: The Program Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of client-facing programs and services. This role helps manage client workshops, and events, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for clients and volunteers. The Program Associate assists with program outreach, maintains accurate client records, and supports data collection and reporting to measure impact. Daily tasks include communicating with clients and partners, handling inquiries, preparing program materials, and collaborating with staff to improve program processes. The role also involves occasional evening or weekend support for special events and program activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate member communications, including meeting reminders, newsletters, invitations, and follow-up emails.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) by creating and maintaining courses, learning materials, quizzes, discussion channels, course configurations, member accounts, and related program content.
  • Accurately enter, validate, and reconcile attendance across all learning modes (in-person, Zoom, and the Learning Management System), representing approximately 20% of the weekly workload, while partnering with the Data Analyst to ensure attendance accuracy and reporting integrity.
  • Evaluate program content and curriculum to ensure consistency, relevancy, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to support seamless program delivery.
  • Maintain program curriculum, SOPs, registrations, waivers, volunteer training, and compliance procedures.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for on-site, virtual, and hybrid meetings, including room setup, AV technology, and Zoom management.
  • Provide general administrative and organizational support for assigned programs


Qualifications

·        Experience with program coordination, event planning, or project management.

·        Experience with database management and data entry.

·        Knowledge of reporting and data analysis to support program decisions.

·        Experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

·        Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

·        Excellent verbal, written, customer service, and interpersonal communication skills.

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

·        Ability to problem-solve and work independently while collaborating across teams.

·        Ability to maintain a calm, caring, and professional demeanor.

·        Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

·        Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

·        Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

·        Experience coordinating hybrid and virtual learning environments.

·        Microsoft Office experience.

Salary Range $50,000-$55,000
