Job description

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through telephone solicitation, sales calls, networking, and outside sales activities.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
  • Identify new market segments and revenue opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Conduct hotel tours and client presentations.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry associations.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business.
Account Management
  • Build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Conduct regular account reviews.
  • Maintain accurate client information in Delphi, OnQ, or other CRM systems.
  • Ensure contract details are communicated effectively to Operations.
Revenue Management
  • Work closely with Revenue Management to maximize occupancy and ADR.
  • Understand market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Assist with developing sales strategies to increase revenue.
  • Review pace reports and production reports.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Partner with Catering, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering to ensure successful execution of group business.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and revenue strategy meetings.
  • Communicate client expectations clearly to operational departments.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate sales activity in CRM.
  • Submit weekly activity reports.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts.
  • Maintain organized account files.
  • Complete required Hilton and company training.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Hilton experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Delphi, OnQ, or similar hotel sales systems preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent hotel sales experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel locally for sales calls and networking events.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to attend evening and weekend networking events as business requires.
