Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintainย Go (Golang)ย applications and utilities supporting banking data conversions and migrations.
  • Build scalable processes for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data from legacy banking platforms.
  • Analyze legacy core data structures and implementย source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.
  • Support conversion of customer, deposit, loan, transaction, balance, interest/accrual, payment, fee, and GL-related data.
  • Develop automatedย validation, reconciliation, balancing, and exception-managementย processes.
  • Participate throughout the full conversion lifecycle: data analysis, mapping, development, testing, mock conversions, production cutover, and post-conversion validation.
  • Troubleshoot complex conversion defects and perform root-cause analysis across source data, transformation logic, and target systems.
  • Support mock and production conversion weekends, including execution, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Build reusable conversion tools and automation to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Work directly with Conversion teams, technical teams, client SMEs, and banking resources to resolve data and conversion issues.

Required Experience

  • Strong development experience withย Go (Golang).
  • Data and ETL side coming out of payments and banking domain.
  • Hands-on experience withย banking data conversions, migrations, ETL, or large-scale data transformation.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of core banking concepts, including deposits, loans, customers, transactions, balances, interest/accruals, payments, and GL.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and exception handling.
  • Experience working with large, complex financial datasets.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
