UFC GYM Woodbridge, NJ is seeking energetic and experienced Group Fitness and/or Indoor Cycling Instructors to lead engaging, high-quality classes for our members.
We are open to instructors specializing in Indoor Cycling, HIIT, Cardio Kickboxing, Functional Training, Bootcamp, Strength & Conditioning, and other group fitness formats.
We're looking for instructors who are passionate about fitness, confident leading groups, and able to create a motivating, welcoming, and high-energy class environment.
Instructors will typically teach 2–4 one-hour classes per week, based on class schedule and availability. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Class Instruction
  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging group fitness and/or indoor cycling classes according to the scheduled format.
  • Demonstrate exercises and provide clear verbal instruction, coaching, and effective cueing.
  • Motivate participants and create a positive, high-energy workout environment.
  • Educate participants on proper form, technique, bike setup, and appropriate modifications based on class format.
  • Monitor participants throughout class and make adjustments to promote safety and effectiveness.
  • Explain proper use of equipment and reinforce class safety guidelines.
  • Welcome new participants and help them feel comfortable regardless of experience or fitness level.
  • Deliver classes consistent with UFC GYM standards and the scheduled format.
Instructor Responsibilities
  • Arrive with sufficient time to prepare the workout area and greet participants.
  • Begin and end classes according to the scheduled class time.
  • Build positive rapport with participants and help develop consistent class participation.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and coaching presence.
  • Properly store equipment following each class and report equipment or safety concerns.
  • Operate applicable sound equipment, microphone, and room lighting when needed.
  • Communicate class or participant concerns to gym management as appropriate.
  • Promote member participation in group fitness programming, cycling, and special events.
Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Indoor Cycling, HIIT, Cardio Kickboxing, Functional Training, Bootcamp, Strength & Conditioning, or similar group fitness formats.
  • Strong knowledge of safe exercise techniques and training principles.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate exercises and/or coach proper cycling technique.
  • Strong verbal communication, motivational, and group leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with participants of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
  • High energy and the physical ability to effectively lead scheduled classes.
  • Dependable, professional, and prepared to deliver a consistent member experience.
  • Ability to motivate members, build class participation, and develop a strong following is highly valued.
Certification Requirements
  • Current recognized Group Fitness and/or Indoor Cycling certification or relevant specialty certification.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Additional specialty-format certification or training may be required depending on the class.
  • Availability to teach approximately 2–4 one-hour classes per week.
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred.
