If you're enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and love working with animals in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you. We're looking for an afternoon Camp Counselor with the primary hours being 12pm-8pm 2-4 nights per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise group play sessions to ensure a safe and fun environment for all dogs

  • Interact and play with dogs to provide both physical and mental stimulation

  • Recognize and respond appropriately to dog behavior, intervening to prevent issues

  • Provide individualized care based on each dog’s temperament, needs, and preferences

  • Maintain clean and sanitized play areas, cabins, and equipment throughout the day

  • Assist with feeding routines, medication administration, and basic grooming as needed

  • Communicate effectively with pet parents, offering updates and answering questions

  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to deliver exceptional pet care

  • Participate in ongoing training to improve animal handling and customer service skills

Qualifications:
  • Prior professional experience with dogs (e.g., daycare, boarding, veterinary clinic) preferred

  • Personal experience managing multiple dogs at home or training is also considered

  • Solid understanding of dog behavior, body language, and safe handling techniques

  • Ability to work with dogs (and the occasional cat!) of all sizes and temperaments

  • Friendly, reliable, and a true team player with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon/evening shifts as needed

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Perks of Working at Mighty Pet:
  • Work with adorable pets every day in a supportive, pet-loving environment

  • Hands-on training and opportunities for professional development
