Job description

Job Description LRS is looking for a Senior Audio Video (AV) Engineer to support and maintain AV systems in conference rooms and executive spaces. This role also includes providing Tier 2 IT support to senior leaders and high-level users. The right person will have strong technical skills in AV and IT, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

So let's get to work. Key Responsibilities: Audio Visual Support: Support and maintain AV systems in boardrooms, conference rooms, and large meeting spaces. Troubleshoot and manage AV control systems (e.g., Crestron), DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC), video switching, projection systems, and digital signage

Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. Keep AV documentation up to date. Executive IT Support (Tier 2): Provide hands-on Tier 2 support to executives and VIP users.

Test and prepare AV setups before important meetings or events. Support Windows and macOS systems, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and common productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Teams, Slack). Troubleshoot peripherals including printers, webcams, and docking stations.

Work closely with executive support staff to meet expectations. Escalate issues as needed and work with other IT teams. General IT Support: Assist with setting up new systems and devices.

Help with patching, updates, and inventory tracking. Use tools like Ivanti for IT service tickets and tracking. Mentor junior IT and AV staff when needed.

Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in AV and IT support roles. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS systems. Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS) and AV-over-IP

Experience with remote AV support tools. Ability to support mobile devices and hybrid work setups. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and documentation habits. Preferred Qualifications: CTS, CTS-D, or similar AV certifications. Apple or Microsoft IT certifications.

Familiarity with cloud-based admin tools (e.g., Intune, Teams Admin Center). Experience supporting executives or high-profile users. Working Conditions: On-site work is required

Some evening or weekend work may be needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment.

Occasional travel may be required. The base range for this contract position is $20- $40 per hour, depending on experience. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
