Job description


As a member of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse coordinates, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care according to the job description and Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses on 7 South. 

1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
2. Current knowledge of the nursing care planning process and evidence of ability to problem-solve
3. Demonstrated skill and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team setting
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal leadership and teamwork
5. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
6. Current knowledge of and experience in Acute Care preferred
7. Demonstrated knowledge and clinical experience in Stroke care/ Neurology preferred
8. Demonstrated willingness to acquire knowledge in areas of specialty
