The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and hardworking Sales Representative to join our team. The Sales Representative will develop, lead and execute sales strategies. The ideal candidate should be able to identify business opportunities, expand our market presence, cultivate relationships, provide valued solutions and execute initiatives that will take OWL Services to the next level of success. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies business opportunities by targeting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; provides a consultative sales approach in order to better understand business from the customer’s perspective
  • Continuously fosters relationships with customers by providing on-going support, information, resolution and improvements
  • Maintain outstanding levels of customer service
  • Keep customer current with updated equipment information
  • Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files relating to customer contact, details, and promotional activities
  • Analyzes competitors to help identify key business opportunities to expand market reach and develop services; assess situations and recommends strategies for moving forward
  • Remains current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors in order to strategically position our products/services; maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
  • Creates and communicates meaningful Sales and Performance KPI’s in order to drive profitable growth
  • Creates and encourages an atmosphere of partnership, collaboration and teamwork with other departments leveraging networking across the business
  • Forecasts/reports on actual performance, both financially and with respect to customer service performance metrics
  • Determine customer requirements for new products and services, and introduce new products to on-going accounts

Requirements and Skills

  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • 3 years related industry sales experience with demonstrated profitable sales
  • Advanced knowledge of the petroleum industry with application, technical, managerial experience preferred
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Ability to look/act beyond the immediate scope of the job and align initiatives with the company's long-term goals
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to make key customer decisions
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
  • Good listener and strong written and verbal communicator
  • Entrepreneurial, goal driven, action oriented, self-motivated
