Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Europe Sales Director based in Netherlands.

As Europe Sales Director, you will take full ownership of commercial growth across the European market for an innovative AI-powered healthcare product. You will be responsible for regional revenue, pipeline development, forecasting, and the overall go-to-market strategy across multiple countries. This is a highly hands-on leadership role where you will personally engage with hospitals, health systems, clinicians, and senior decision-makers throughout the sales cycle. You will shape market-entry priorities, build strategic relationships, and drive complex enterprise deals from prospecting through close. As the region grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing European sales team. Working with Marketing, Product, and Medical teams, you will help scale an impactful technology that is transforming cardiovascular care.

Accountabilities:
  • Own European commercial performance, including revenue targets, pipeline development, sales forecasting, and overall regional growth.
  • Lead the complete enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through executive demonstrations, negotiations, and closing.
  • Develop and execute the European go-to-market strategy, including territory planning, customer segmentation, and market-entry priorities across countries.
  • Build strong relationships with clinical leaders, procurement teams, C-level executives, and other key stakeholders within hospitals and health systems.
  • Drive both new business and expansion opportunities by developing trusted customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a European sales team as the regional organization scales.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Medical teams to align commercial strategy with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Bring customer and market insights back into the organization to inform product development and commercial priorities.
  • Represent the organization with key opinion leaders, strategic partners, healthcare decision-makers, and at relevant industry events.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy and accountability as the senior commercial leader for the region.
Requirements:
  • Proven senior-level sales experience within healthcare, with a strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Significant experience selling into hospitals and health systems, ideally within medtech, digital health, medical devices, or another healthcare technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-level sales involving multiple stakeholders across clinical, procurement, and executive functions.
  • Experience owning a multi-country territory and operating independently as a senior regional commercial leader.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, coach, and motivate sales teams; previous people-management experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with professional fluency in English and Slovak.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, executive selling, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial and ownership-oriented mindset, with the ability to set priorities, make decisions independently, and consistently deliver results.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies across diverse European markets.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare innovation and enthusiasm for using AI to improve cardiovascular care.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Europe approximately 30% of the time.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior commercial leadership experience.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Remote-first working model within the EU.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership over the European region and its commercial strategy.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a European sales organization as the business scales.
  • Direct impact on the adoption of AI-powered technology designed to improve cardiovascular care.
  • Opportunity to work closely with healthcare providers, clinical leaders, and industry experts across Europe and the United States.
  • Exposure to a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare technology environment.
  • International and collaborative working environment with cross-functional exposure to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Medical teams.
  • Regular opportunities to travel across Europe and build relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
