Comet is building the development platform for teams who want to ship robust, reliable, and responsible AI applications. Opik, our open source LLM evaluation framework, has quickly become one of the most popular tools in the space. Our experiment management platform is used by data scientists at companies like Uber, Netflix, and Etsy. You are:
Reporting to the Vice President Global Sales and CS, the Senior Solutions Engineer is a highly technical and customer-facing individual contributor responsible for helping enterprise customers evaluate, deploy, and operationalize Generative AI applications and agents using Opik by Comet.
This role partners closely with Account Executives throughout the enterprise sales cycle and serves as a trusted technical advisor during discovery, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and production readiness discussions. While this is an individual contributor role, the Senior Solutions Engineer will also act as a senior technical leader within the organization by mentoring peers, improving technical processes, and helping standardize demo, POC, and customer engagement best practices.
This individual will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to drive technical wins, accelerate enterprise adoption, and support Comet's MEDDPICC and Challenger-based sales process.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, product gaps, technical requirements, and competitive insights
  • Build reusable demo assets, technical enablement content, and evaluation frameworks for the field organization
  • Assist in developing standardized demo flows, technical messaging, and customer engagement best practices
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions and MEDDPICC qualification
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business value and customer outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and bias toward execution
Requirements:
