Job description

Job Description This role focuses on converting existing ETL jobs from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, and creating new ETL jobs and integrations to build datasets (in Oracle, within AWS). Key Duties Plan and document the technical migration path for ETLs, working with Enterprise Data Governance and the Data Warehouse team. Collaborate with data analysts, data stewards, and governance teams to align dataset requirements.

Develop integration and system test plans, ensuring applications and data meet specifications. Work with other developers, Architects, Cybersecurity, and DBAs to incorporate designs into Technical Specifications. Align with and maintain data models for the data warehouse with the data architect.

Design, present for peer review, and implement new ETL jobs based on current infrastructure. Conduct testing and validation of data for ETL changes. Document design, ETL job details, and table structure changes.

Act as a resource and subject matter expert for business partners on reporting and data alignment. Maintain positive relationships regarding data access and policy matters (UDAP). Assist in the creation and presentation of business cases.

Qualifications 5+ years of experience coding in IDMC, including designing, developing, and implementing ETL jobs in a medium or large organization. Experience in Informatica PowerCenter is a strong asset. Very strong understanding of data modeling, data profiling, data quality concepts, database design, and data warehouse architectures.

Very strong skills with Oracle and other relational databases. In-depth knowledge of Workday and AWS. Understanding of APIs and leading data integration technologies is an asset.

AI and Python training/experience an asset. Higher Education (Higher Ed) experience preferred. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
