Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 5-8 years of experience in ETL testing / Data Warehouse testing.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation (Pytest, Pandas, or similar frameworks).
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or similar.
  • Experience validating data across multiple data sources and formats.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, transformations, and ETL workflows.
  • Exposure to API testing / data ingestion validation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL and Big Data pipelines.
  • Develop automation frameworks/scripts using Python for data validation and ETL testing.
  • Validate data completeness, accuracy, and integrity across source and target systems.
  • Perform backend/database testing using SQL and Big Data technologies.
  • Automate data reconciliation and transformation validation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data flows and requirements.
