This position is based in Menlo Park and reporting to the Associate General Counsel - Compliance. The position will be accountable for supporting the execution of compliance reviews and initiatives within Robert Half.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and lead all aspects of the Robert Half's Ethics & Compliance Program under the Guidance of the Associate General Counsel - Compliance.

  • Manage and develop Code of Conduct Annual training and related awareness activities.

  • Develop annual compliance and risk assessment plans.

  • Prepare budget for annual compliance plan and risk assessment implementation.

  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of analytical methodologies to generate metrics across regulatory compliance initiatives and provide data based guidance to business leadership on compliance initiatives and related priorities.

  • Build relationships with regional and global compliance leaders inside and outside of the Robert Half organization to give global visibility to the Compliance program including making presentations at compliance conferences.

  • Make recommendations as to the development and maturity stages of the Compliance Program with the objective of growing the program and increasing compliance on a global level.

  • Build rapport across departmental and geographical boundaries to expand the Program and assist with the analysis of the compliance issues globally. Prepares quarterly reports on the Compliance Program for the Company's Compliance Advisory Committee.

  • Assist with the management of the Robert Half Hotline system and monitor and develop reporting mechanisms.

  • Respond to inquiries concerning the Compliance Program and related compliance areas.

  • Interact with US, European Union and/or Asia Pacific Legal, Corporate Communications, Finance, Human Resources, and business leadership onmultiple areas to promote compliance with the Code of Conduct and relevant laws and regulations.

  • Develop global communications concerning compliance issues and the compliance program.

  • Prepare quarterly reports on the Compliance Program for the Company's Compliance Advisory Committee.

  • Support to the Associate General Counsel or General Counsel on broad spectrum of legal matters across a variety of legal areas and/or geographical regions.

What You'll Need

  • BS Business and Master in Business Administration.

  • 7+ years of related Global Ethics and Compliance Program experience.

  • DOMO, Diligent, Power Point, MS Office experience.

  • CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional).

  • Budget Management, policy development, management and supervision experience, project management, training content development, audit and investigation experience, and testing methodologies experience.

  • Able to make decisions based upon business needs of company weighed against legal standards.

  • Able to see the "big picture" to determine what is best for the company.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, with tight deadlines.

  • Must have the highest level of integrity and ethics.

  • Able to keep composure while under pressure.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$103,000.00 - $158,000.00
