Job Role:

Position            : Manufacturing Operator 2

Location           : 5485 County Road V Sheboygan Falls WI USA WI-53085

Contract           : 12+ months.
Shift                   : Friday - Sunday, 12-hour Day Shift (6am-6:30pm). Additional 4 hours to meet weekly 40 hrs scheduled with supervisor throughout the week.

Pay Rate           : $22 - 25/hr. on W2.

Description:

Essential Job Functions

·         Membrane manufacturing support for 24/7 operation. Operates day to day tasks to maintain continuos operation of manufacturing line.

·         Actively participates in a positive safety, quality, and inclusive culture through voice and action

·         Verifies quality and integrity of material and equipment used. Identifies malfunctions in equipment operation, and with appropriate approval, takes corrective actions.

·         Performs in-process analytical testing, including work-ups and simple interpretations as described in work instructions.

·         Provide support to Managers, Supervisors, and other team members in a multi-shift manufacturing environment

·         Understand material presented in specific safety, manufacturing, and other related training sessions

·         Work in accordance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, and other regulatory agency guidelines

·         Hiring Manager prefers 2 - 3 years experience

·         Software Experience: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Candidate can enter values and change values.

·         Must work well in a team environment under the instruction of chemists and supervisors.

·         Demonstrate a basic understanding of plant, lab, and facility-related capabilities.

·         Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing areas and related equipment during each shift.

·         Assist the Maintenance group with operations, maintenance, and upkeep of facilities.

·         Ability to communicate well with manufacturing staff and other departments as needed.

·         Pre-Employment physical is required

·         PPE requirements are required; all is provided by the site. i.g. anti-shed uniform, hair and beard net, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.

·         Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds unassisted.

·         Chemicals in working environment could be: Nitrocellulose (in IPA), Acetone, Butanol, Ethanol

·         Essential and Critical Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills. Mechanical aptitude. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to read and understand written protocols. Ability to operate forklift or hand pallet truck. Ability to operate hand tools, lab equipment, calculator and weighing and measuring devices. Attention to detail. Ability to provide answers to process problems. Workers will all be trained on the forklift(s) and equipment.
