The Watershed Partnerships Coordinator is directly accountable to the program for the following duties and responsibilities.

The Watershed PartnershipsCoordinator develops and strengthens collaborative partnerships that advance the mission of the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance Estuary Program (CBAEP). Working closely with local governments, agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and community stakeholders, theCoordinatoridentifiesopportunities for collaboration,convenespartners, and coordinates initiatives that improve the health and resilience of the Choctawhatchee Basin.

TheCoordinatorserves as the organizational hubfor the Watershed Partnerships Program by building collaborative relationships whileestablishingthe systems, processes, and workflows that support long-term program growth. The position combines partnership development, project coordination, and program operations to ensure watershed initiatives are implementedand trackedefficiently and collaboratively.

The individual assigned to this position assumes duties and responsibilities which require electronic accessibility for college business during non-college operating hours and/or when off campus during regular duty hours.

The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.

• Develop andmaintaincollaborative relationships with local governments, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, businesses, community organizations, and other watershed stakeholders.
• Serveasaninitialpoint of contact for watershed partnership initiatives.
• Identifyopportunities to align partner resources and priorities toward shared watershed goals.
• Convene andfacilitatemeetings, workshops, working groups, and collaborative planning efforts.
• Represent theCBAEPat meetings, conferences, public events, and partner engagements.

Program and Project Coordination

• Coordinate implementation and tracking of management plan priorities, annual work plans, and watershed initiatives.
• Coordinate watershed projects from planning through implementation, including partner communication and follow-up.
• Identifyfunding opportunities andassistwith grant development, reporting, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, deliverables, budgets, commitments, and performance measures to ensuretimelyprogress.

Program Operations

• Develop and maintain systems, workflows, and tools that support efficient program operations and future staff growth.
• Coordinate calendars, committee meetings, agendas, materials, minutes, follow-up, and logistics for meetings, workshops, trainings, and events.
• Maintain partnership and project records and prepare related reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials.
• Work closely with the Executive Director and program managers to advance strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate acrossCBAEPMonitoring & Research, Restoration, and Education programs to integrate watershed priorities.
• Complete required compliance training and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A. or B.S. in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Planning, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field, plus 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience coordinating collaborative programs, environmental initiatives, partnerships, or comparable projects.
• Exceptional relationship-building, facilitation, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meetings, schedules, and competing priorities.
• Excellent written, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with grant development or administration preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn project management and database systems.
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Choctawhatchee Basin both in Florida and Alabama.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and perform light field work as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience and knowledge of environmental and natural resource issues, programs, and partnerships within the Choctawhatchee Basin and Northwest Florida.
