Reconstruction Estimator
SERVPRO Team Toft

Do you enjoy helping people rebuild after unexpected events? Join our team as a Reconstruction Estimator and play a key role in restoring homes and businesses after fire and water damagemaking it Like it never even happened.
In this role, youll work directly with customers, project managers, and vendors to develop accurate, detailed estimates and help guide projects from start to finish. Every day is different, and your work will have a real impact on people during challenging times.
What Youll Do

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the construction process
  • Educate customers on scope, timelines, and available options (including upgrades)
  • Inspect job sites and develop accurate sketches and scopes of work
  • Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements for each project
  • Prepare clear, detailed, and organized estimates using Xactimate
  • Identify project constraints, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to finalize pricing and scope
  • Coordinate with third-party experts (engineers, inspectors, etc.) as needed
  • Communicate estimates clearly to both customers and internal teams
What Were Looking For

  • 2+ years of construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
  • Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid math, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Valid drivers license with a good driving record
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent driving to job sites and time spent in the field
  • Walking and standing for extended periods
  • Occasional ladder use and exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Job sites may include loud environments and active construction areas
