River Ridge Renovations is a Hospitality Renovations General Contractor specializing in $100K - $10M+ construction projects throughout the United States. We are in search of the perfect high performing construction professional for a unique performance-based career opportunity.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Work involves management of superintendents, skilled workers, and subcontractors in multiple projects. Work is performed under the general direction of the project manager and is subject to periodic review of quality, efficiency, work methods and following company policies. This position will require the project manager to travel to his job sites multiple times/as needed to complete the project.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

10 Years of Hospitality/Commercial Project Manager Experience with a minimum of 5 years in Hospitality renovations.

ยท Strong knowledge in computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, takeoff)

ยท Ability to handle multiple projects and customers simultaneously; exceptional organizational skills are required and the ability to meet designated deadlines is critical

ยท Candidate must always maintain the highest level of confidentiality and possess the ability to properly handle sensitive materials concerning the organization

ยท Excellent organizational skills and organizational responsibility. Ability to estimate, build schedules, read construction plans, do takeoffs, organize project lists quickly and efficiently.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

ยท Strong problem-solving skills.

ยท Possess competent knowledge of estimating, constructions plans, insurance documents and procedures.

ยท Understand contracts, architectural plans, and technical specifications, and comply with all state contracting laws: NRS, NAC, IIPP, NVOSHA and OSHA safety regulations.

ยท Create the scope of work and budget. Evaluate plans, specifications, designs and instructions from the team and customer through proper project planning and kick off.

ยท Thorough understanding of the practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in construction.

ยท Ability to interpret, lay out and work from written scopes, plans, sketches, and blueprints.

ยท Ability to understand and manage all trades and means and methods in depth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DAILY

ยท Maintain regular communication with Office and Field Superintendentโ€™s on project status/updates. Responsible for communicating weekly reports with owner-reps.

ยท Set daily production/task expectations for superintendent.

ยท Adhere to the project schedule, notify management of any deviations before they occur.

ยท Coordinate with superintendent on plan, schedule, and conducting inspections on time.

ยท Ensure the superintendent is enforcing safety of workers, proper use of equipment at the job site at all times.

ยท Review Three-Week Look ahead Schedules and update Team weekly.

ยท Conduct reviews with superintendent to ensure project is on track.

ยท Create and distribute RFIโ€™s accordingly

ยท Enforce the use of PPE on all Projects.

ยท Responsible for overall project success with a keen focus on communications, procurement, critical path, cost efficiency, quality, and profitability to ensure timely completion of multiple deliverables.

ยท Responsible for creating construction scheduling, budgeting, deliverables, and field observation reports

ยท Attend project meetings, schedule meetings and project task creation.

ยท Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, job costs, scope changes, delays, Out of Sequence Work, contingencies, and roadblocks that may arise during the implementation of projects

ยท Assist superintendent with project punch list management, administration, and as built drawings. Archive project files when project is complete.

ยท Represent and promote leadership, core values and culture of our company by supporting the team and enforcing the rules and regulations of the company and project.

ยท Manage customer expectations and requests.

ยท Manage and coordinate submittals, RFIโ€™s, change orders, and project conditions.

ยท Perform additional assignments per owner direction. (only once Change Orders are Signed by Owner or Owners Approved Representative).
