Responsibilities:
- Create bid proposals for new and existing customers
- Work with purchasing to collect material costs
- Managing outside vendor relations, pricing, and lead times
- Work with production to establish fabrication and machining methods and timing
- Regularly review job costings to establish accuracy of estimates and estimating process
- Solicit feedback from customers and production to improve estimating accuracy
- Manage/follow projects through the manufacturing process
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate customer quoting and production processes
Qualifications:
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and machining **REQUIRED**
- Proficient at reading and interpreting GD&T
- Experience estimating AS9100D projects preferred
- Previous experience in estimating in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience collaborating and managing outside processes such as coatings, heat treatment, anodizing and plating, etc.
- Experience working with SolidWorks
