Position Overview

Our Client is a well-established construction company performing both residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager / Estimator with a strong residential construction background to perform estimating and project management duties.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage insurance restoration projects from lead generation through project completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

  • Prepare accurate construction cost estimates using industry-standard software, including Xactimate.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong time management and organizational standards.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office and related software to prepare reports, communicate project updates, and analyze project data.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of construction.

  • Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-training initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
  • Complete knowledge of all phases of construction and current building codes.

  • Experience in construction estimating; Xactimate experience is highly preferred.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.

  • Proficiency in reading construction scopes, blueprints, schedules, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management abilities.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to take on challenges and new initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)

  • 3+ years of construction estimating experience

  • 5+ years of construction experience

  • 3+ years of construction project management experience
