What are Estimate Writers (Remote)?

Estimate Writers (Remote) are professionals who create detailed cost estimates for projects, typically in industries like insurance, construction, or automotive repair, while working from a remote location. Their primary responsibilities include reviewing documentation, assessing damage or project scope, and using specialized software to produce accurate estimates. They often communicate with clients, adjusters, and contractors to gather necessary information and ensure estimates meet industry standards. Working remotely allows them to manage their workload flexibly and collaborate with team members online.

Familiarity with estimating software such as Xactimate, CCC One, or similar platforms, as well as proficiency in MS Office, is typically required. Strong written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills help distinguish top performers in this remote role.
