What are estheticians?

They perform services such as facials, hair removal, skin analysis, exfoliation, and advice on skincare routines and products. Estheticians work in various settings, including spas, salons, dermatology offices, and medical spas. Their primary goal is to help clients enhance their skin's appearance and address common skin concerns. They are not medical doctors but are trained to recognize skin issues that may require a dermatologist's attention.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Esthetician, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Esthetician, you need in-depth knowledge of skin care, sanitation standards, and hands-on techniques, typically supported by completion of a state-approved cosmetology or esthetics program and licensure.
